This project involves the construction of Ireland's 1st ‘A' rated mixed-use 5 storey development constructed over a double basement car park to the entire footprint. This project is being developed on the grounds adjacent to the River Barrow in Carlow Town. The development will comprise of 110 apartments, crèche, gym, community areas and 190 car packing spaces. Innovative solutions were provide utilizing state of the art design and detailing packages that enabled us to save 100 tonnes of structural steel or €0.25m cost saving to the project. We also employed alternative technologies such as GGBS aggregates added to reduce our carbon footprint over traditional concrete mixes.
