Hayes Higgins Partnership provided Civil and Structural Engineering Services and Design and Supervision Services for this project which was constructed under the GCCC Form of Contract. This project involved the construction of 2 x new 16 classroom junior and senior primary schools totaling approximately 4,600m². The construction of  two new school buildings behind the existing school building:

  • Allowed the current school building to continue in operation thereby minimising the temporary accommodation requirements during the construction phase.

  • Permits the development of adequate set-down and pick-up space and staff car parking once the existing school building has been demolished.

  • Facilitates future expansion of the school to cater for population increase, changes in the pupil/teacher ratio, special needs requirements, etc.

  • Facilitates the provision of safe construction access.
