Hayes Higgins Partnership has carried out energy upgrades for nine Dublin City Council Libraries including:

  • Pembroke

  • Rathmines

  • Drumcondra

  • Phibsborough

  • Ringsend

  • Ballyfermot

  • Cabra

  • Charleville Mall

  • Marino

To secure funding for each of these projects a building energy efficiency survey had to be carried out. Using our experience, as registered BER assessors and in sustainable energy design, we were able to assess the current performance of the buildings and offer a number of phased upgrade options to improve the building energy performances. We included detailed whole life cost analyses for each option and saving comparisons. With our expertise in all areas of M&E design we were able to find a tailored solution for each library each of which successfully received funding.
