Name of Project: Carrig Tur Nursing Home, Enniscorthy

Client: Ms Bernie Purcell

Sustainable Design:

The Primary method of heating and hot water in this facility is Geothermal Heat Pumps. HHP did a heating and hot water analysis of the building and decided to utilise this proven technology. This will result in a building that is comfortable for the end users and also is far more economical to run when compared to a facility that utilised traditional hydrocarbon fuels as the primary energy source.

In addition we have carried out detailed heat loss calculations and have specified insulation requirements that exceed the current building regulations by 40%.
