Hayes Higgins Partnership is performing the lead engineering role in the preparation of the detailed design requirements and the management of the procurement process.

An upgrade from 600 PE to a 1,600 PE (aerobic/anoxic tank) plant is proposed to be constructed on the site with tertiary treatment delivering a 5:5 effluent to the local stream.

Other items included a settling tank, storm tank and control building and ancillary works, at existing wastewater treatment works in Stoneyford, Co. Kilkenny.

Hayes Higgins Partnership designed and prepared for construction of an upgrade and expansion of the existing collection network. Repair and rehabilitation of certain elements of the original network was carried out using latest in pipe lining technologies.
