Hayes Higgins Partnership was appointed by Limerick Main Drainage, Roadbridge to supply condition surveys of 150 houses along route of Limerick main drainage scheme.

 

The construction of the Limerick Main Drainage works was estimated at €200m including the following:
  1. 130,000 PE Waste Water Treatment Plant.

  2. 4,500 TDS Sludge Treatment Plant (Thermal Drying Facility).

  3. 2.7m diameter Tunnel, 2.58 km long with 12 access shafts, 13m deep.

  4. 7.5 km of trenchless construction for interceptor sewers up to 1800m diameter.

  5. 4 Major River Crossings.

  6. Main Lift Pumping Station, capacity 13.6m³/sec.

  7. Pre-loading and vertical drainage contract.

  8. Outfall Pipeline - 1,100mm diameter, 1 km in length to Shannon Estuary including jetty structure. We undertook condition surveys along streets in advance of main drainage works, logged and reported on condition surveys of properties, boundary walls, footpaths and features along route. Further to the initial surveys we provided and on-going repeat monitoring and upon completion of the works a final set of surveys were carried out as a benchmark.
